Brief update - OK, having sat my exam back in October, I had a nail biting few weeks waiting for the result. I'm not the most confident with my performance in exams but shortly before Christmas my wait was over. To my surprise, I passed!!! I actually performed a lot better than expected and I achieved the mark I needed to receive my grade 3 pass - this was in fact the maximum I could have achieved with tmy course work result. So all in all very pleased to put that course behind me and look to ahead. Still basically nothing has happened with the studio since in ages as I still wasn't happy to look ahead until I could finally put my studies to the back of my mind - I was still contemplating the likelihood of having to retake my exam in April. Anyway, now I really need to crack on so the next few weeks should see some progress again.

Thought I'd better post something here as it has been so long. As you'll gather there hasn't been much in the way of building going on - literally nothing. That's likely to change in the next few weeks as I am nearing the end of course, having just submitted the final assignment last week. Though that is not to say that I'm completely clear yet as I have a small matter of a three hour exam to sit in about 6 weeks time, so I'll be heavily engaged in revision to try and devote at least some of the stuff I've been reading over the last six months or so to memory! It means that at least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now and my thoughts are drifting a little more towards studio building again...and I can't wait to get stuck in.

Just an update - not too much in the way of building going on at the moment. I have a number of other house/garden jobs to sort and I'll be having a break from building. I have another 2000 word assignment to complete by the 10th June so my mind is focused on this for the moment. Just shortly after that I have 2 weeks holiday - Devon for a week then time with the family for the second. Anyway that's enough for the time being but I'll post if there is any progress - more soon...

Finally attached the last plasterboard layer on the ceiling on Saturday - a relief to get that job done and i can now think about the next job...what next then: doors, floor, silencers, the list goes on...

Just a short post. No building this weekend at all I'm afraid busy doing other stuff. As you may have gathered progress has slowed somewhat in the last few weeks as my time and energy has been focused on studying. I may have an opportunity next weekend to get some work done.
